Warren W. Ulrich, 72, passed away May 4, 2012 at Ephrata Community Hospital. He was the husband of the late Gloria M. (Dotterrer) Ulrich who died Nov. 27, 2006. He was known to his family as “Sonny” and to his two biggest fans “Pop.”

Born in Fritztown, he was a son of the late Katie (Ulrich) Johnson.

He retired in 2005 after over 50 years at Hoffman Industries.

He was a member of the Gouglersville, Fritztown, and West Wyomissing Fire Companies. A member of Cushion Rod and Peak Gun Club, Reamstown Athletic Association, and the Reinholds VFW Post #6759.

Warren is survived by his niece, Tiffany wife of James Shaffer and their two children, James Andrew Shaffer, II and Benjamin Warren Shaffer; a nephew Nicholas Hivner; a brother, Terry Johnson; three sisters, Mary Wenrich, Anna Mae Johnson, and Viola Johnson; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, George Johnson and Isaac Ulrich

Services will be held at 10:30AM, Tuesday, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, Wernersville. A viewing will be held from 7-8:30PM, Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
